The influence of the level of development of emotional intelligence in students on their adaptive abilities

The content of the basic concepts of “intelligence”, “emotional intelligence” is considered. The review of scientific publications is presented, on the basis of which the influence of the level of development of emotional intelligence on the adaptability of students in the conditions of a pandemic, their success in training and professional activity is revealed. The results of the study of the components of emotional intelligence in students of various fields of training and forms of education are presented. Conclusions are drawn about the differences in the level of formation of emotional intelligence among students of different groups; about the need for purposeful development of emotional intelligence.
