Effect of the conditions of working local police officers to the effectiveness of their operation

The article presents an analysis of the results of a sociological research of the conditions of working by local police officers. The importance of the research is determined by the interconnection between the effectiveness of the activities of local police officers, the trust of citizens to police and the need to form personnel core of this working. Considering the main directions of the local police officers, as well as the duties of them, when they work at an administrative area, the article attempts to plan new working hours (Taking into the duties assigned to employees), which is really necessary to perform all the tasks facing the local police officers on a daily basis. The presented research explores incentive measures for local police officers and draws attention to the limitations of incentive measures used today to police officers. The collective opinion of respondents is given about the expectation of changes in the organization of the official activities of local police officers, about the goals of prolong working at these department of police and the desire to continue working there. Attention is drawn to the predominant material component in the motivation of their work. Based on the results of the research, the author formulates a conclusion about the dependence of the effectiveness of the working of local police officers on the size of tasks performed, personal motivation and the application of necessary measures to stimulate their work.
