The impact of tourism on the residential real estate market of the Kaliningrad region

In recent years, mainly under the influence of external factors such as social and political, there has been a positive trend in the development of domestic tourism. Tourist flows to the Kaliningrad region are increasing rapidly (by 20% compared to the docked level). The development of the tourism industry has a positive impact on various fields of activity. The article presents the results of a study of the impact of the tourism industry on the residential real estate market. The study was conducted in the Kaliningrad region based on the analysis of the results of a survey of experts in the field of residential real estate. The paper presents conclusions on the existence of a link between trends in tourism and demand for residential real estate. The respondents surveyed in the course of the study positively assessed the prospects of the residential real estate market in the Kaliningrad industry, taking into account the forecasts of tourist flows. However, they also noted other factors affecting the state of the residential real estate market.
