Implementation of disciplines related to information modeling in the educational programs of universities

The advantages of using BIM technologies in modern construction are considered, the necessity of introducing disciplines related to information modeling into the educational programs of universities is substantiated, the experience of introducing such disciplines in two versions is described: the inclusion of disciplines of BIM technologies in existing educational programs and the creation of separate specialized educational programs. There are given positive arguments in favor of the formation of competence orientation of students in the field of application of BIM technologies.
