Implementation of government programs and individual measures aimed at regulating issues of poverty and economic inequality abroad

The analysis of foreign experience of state regulation of issues of poverty and economic inequality is carried out. The socio-economic consequences of the introduction of state programs and individual measures aimed at solving the problems of poverty and economic inequality are considered. The grouping of measures (economic, legal, informational) was carried out. The application of measures in high-, middle- and low-income countries is analyzed. The emphasis is placed on the fact that both similar and specific measures are applied in high-, middle- and low-income countries. It is concluded that countries use a wide variety of measures and tools to regulate issues of poverty and economic inequality, including in the context of COVID-19. It is emphasized that the complexes of measures to ensure social protection in the context of COVID-19 have had a different impact in different countries. The emphasis is placed on the fact that countries from all three groups (high, middle and low income) are united by the problem of hunger. It is concluded that some measures can be fully or partially used in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, taking into account national specifics.
