Introduction of screen technologies in education and their impact on cognitive procedures

This article discusses a number of modern views on the features of the virtual educational space in terms of its influence on the perception and consciousness of the individual student in relation to the processes of understanding, assimilation and consolidation of new educational information. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the emerging features of educational communication in the function of mediation or organization through the screen of the processes of educational interaction between the teacher and his students. According to the results of the study, both the fixed advantages of the process of introducing screen-type educational ICTs and the disadvantages associated with insufficiently thought-out organization and methodological development of this process were identified and analyzed. In conclusion, the most significant and urgent social problems, the solution of which is necessary for a profound reorganization of many traditional educational models and technologies, as well as indicate unused or underutilized at present benefits of the screen, using which provides convenience and simplicity in the created forms of educational communication.
