The article analyzes the results of the exercise students of the All-Russian sports complex "Ready for Labor and Defense". It is revealed that teacher must gradually accustom students to competitive activity, adjusting to improve personal achievement giving homework with individual approach; create a competitive spirit at the beginning of lesson, declaring the achievements of students of other groups on physical education and summing up at the end of the school year, give extra points for the implementation of the implementation of regulations "Ready for Labor and Defense" and a significant improvement in personal achievements.
