Extracurricular activity as a factor of personal development of students of pedagogical university

The article presents the results of the study of the impact of extracurricular activities on the development of the personality of students studying at various faculties of a pedagogical university and involved in sports and volunteer activities. It was found that students working with children are more emotional and anxious, while athletes are more inclined to creativity. The obtained results prove the significance of extracurricular activities in the development of students' personality, as well as allow planning the development of given personality characteristics through the inclusion of students in specific types of extracurricular activities.
