Extracurricular activities as a space for designing an individual route for personal development of junior students

The article highlights the process of designing individual routes of junior students’ personal development as an important and under-developed field of pedagogical design, which aims to explore the possibilities of pedagogical design in terms of extracurricular activities. The topicality of the problem of designing an individual route of personal development of junior pupils in extracurricular activities is due to regulatory requirements for the organization and results of the educational process and the new socio-cultural conditions. The article gives the author's definition of designing pupils’ individual routes as a strategic aspect of pedagogical support; highlights important aspects of the process and its contents; shows a diagram of the design process, identifies the main stages. Extracurricular activities are considered as a space for design. The author stresses such advantages of extracurricular activities for designing individual personal development routes as: redundancy, variety, openness, personal orientation and discloses the contents and the basic principles of extracurricular activities as a space for design.
