The article deals with the internal structure of the individual’s legal consciousness. A review of approaches to the study of the internal structure of individual legal consciousness is presented. It has been proposed to single out such components as values, a critical attitude to reality and social experience in the structure of a person’s legal consciousness. The interrelation between the given components of the internal structure of legal consciousness in the psychological sense is substantiated. It is shown that social values are the most common, legal norms are aimed at protecting them, and the values that make up the legal consciousness of an individual, as a rule, have a more complex structure, their formation is closely related to the critical position of the individual, which also contributes to the formation of the social experience of the individual. The interrelation of the internal structure of the person’s legal consciousness and its external manifestations in the behavior of an individual is presented.
