Military-professional orientation as a mechanism of preparation of students of general education organizations for the choice of the profession "military personnel"

The article examines the issues of organizing military-professional orientation of students of general education organizations and its importance for preparation for military service. The analysis of the structure of the military education system is carried out, attention is focused on the need to organize a system of military-professional orientation in the conditions of a modern school to prepare students for military service in general and the choice of the profession of "military man" in particular. As a result of the study, the author comes to the conclusion that properly organized work on military-professional orientation will allow students to develop readiness to choose the profession of "military man" as the main type of future professional activity.
