Voluntary movement and its start in Russia

There is regarded the history and development of voluntary movement in Russia. The «volunteer», «unpaid helper», «voluntary movement» notions are defined. The volunteering labor activity influence upon the moral education of youth is analyzed. The working experience of Autonomic Non-commercial Organization «Tanais» (Voronezh) is set as an example there.
