The article deals with the problem of inattention and disregard for the rules of using autopilot when the driver turns on this system. The question is raised about the revision or introduction into the legislation of the Russian Federation of the responsibility not only of the car owner, but also of the vehicle manufacturer for the damage caused when the autopilot system is turned on, despite the violation of the rules for using this system.
