Research of child-parent relations in families raising children with hearing impairments

In modern conditions of development of our society, there is a great attention of science to the problems of the family. This circumstance is determined bythe awareness of this phenomenon as a metamorphosis of the social situation in the Pridnestrovian society. According to the analysis of the Ministryof Health of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the birth rate of the population is declining, the number of divorces is increasing, the material level of the family is declining, and there is a decrease in the physical and mental health of children and parents. Of great importance is the task of a complete change in family relations associated with the appearance in the family of a child who has certain disorders in psychophysical development. For this categoryof children, families constantlyturn out to be a single center of education. The government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic has adopted a number of laws that provide disabled people with the same rights on an equal footing with people with normal health. Changing the legal framework for persons with disabilities makes it possible to argue that people with disabilities in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic occupya huge central position. Parents of a child with special needs experience great inner feelings in relation to the educational process. Hearing impaired children are one of the categories of people with disabilities. In the course of the study, we revealed parent-child relationships in families raising a child with hearing impairment: indulgent hyperprotection due to the sensual symbiosis of mother and child; dominant hyperprotection, accompanied by sensual rejection; emotional rejection due to the rejection of the baby. As a result of the study, conclusions were obtained about the influence of parent-child relationships on the psychophysical development of a child with developmental problems. The results obtained can be applied in family psychological counseling and correctional and developmental work with children with hearing impairment.
