Questions of democracy in the political and legal thoughts of pre-revolutionary Russia

Study examines the issues of democracy in political thoughts to the legal representatives of the major pre-revolutionary Russia. The author has examined the critical writings of jurists, statesmen, and large representatives of intellectuals, who were searching for an optimal model of socio-economic and political development of a society. Works that had been made during the formation of a constitutional monarchy in Russia are of a special interest, taking into account the practical involvement of people in the administration of the highest legislative functions.
