Questions of theory and protection of human and civil rights and freedoms

In the article, the author sets the task to consider the right of a person and a citizen to the protection of rights and freedoms, on the one hand, as an independent constitutional right, the content of which forms a set of human rights, on the other hand, its content is revealed through the mechanism of protection of rights and freedoms. The author drew attention to the correlation of some material and procedural aspects in the mechanism of protection of rights and freedoms. The human rights of the individual form an independent group of constitutional rights and freedoms. Opportunities in the field of protection of rights and freedoms belong to the person who determines the procedure for their implementation, organizes their implementation, are regulated by the state and, at the same time, are inextricably linked with political, economic and other conditions that ensure the rights and freedoms of man and citizen.
