Fostering the spiritual and moral culture of students: objectives, problems, and solutions

The study discusses the role and place of the educational aspect in teaching practice of university lecturers. The author cites and analyzes the regulations governing educational work in higher educational institutions. The research substantiates the relevance and significance of maintaining and developing the continuity of the national teaching tradition. The arrangement problems of educational work at universities are investigated. Modern institutes and universities face its uncertain methods and forms as well as the lack of the time frame for this type of activity. The author emphasizes the importance of fostering the spiritual and moral culture of students in terms of new objectives set for universities: a large-scale increase in the number of international students, the creation of an English-language educational environment. As a result, findings and practical recommendations are proposed to improve the spiritual and moral instruction of students.
