Education of patriotism by means of academic disciplines

The problem of patriotic education is as relevant as ever. Education plays a special role. The content of the humanities has a huge educational potential. Patriotism as a value is considered as one of the guidelines of education. The axiological and activity approach will make it possible to single out the components of patriotism, use the possibilities of academic disciplines and increase the level of patriotism among students. To analyze the pedagogical possibilities of academic disciplines (on the example of literature) in the education of patriotism of technical school students, to identify the most effective forms, methods and techniques. The research methods are the analysis of scientific publications on the problem under consideration and the study of legal documents in the field of upbringing and education in the Russian Federation. Diagnostic methods were used: the method of observation, conversation, questioning, work with groups outside the classroom. On the example of a practical lesson, effective methods and techniques for educating patriotism among students of a technical school were revealed. The completed work of students and the results of the survey are analyzed. In the education of students’ patriotism, it is important to use the pedagogical possibilities of academic disciplines in classroom and extracurricular activities.
