Objective: to validate method of strength capacity development in young males that involves educatory training module in PE classes in comprehensive schools. Study material and methods: to estimate the efficiency of experimental educatory training module we took anthropomorphic measurements: we assessed body length and mass, and also studied set of special parameters used to define strength capacity progress (lifting force, wrist dynamometry). Physical condition and physical fitness were assessed by testing that included Erismann index, Pignet index (body-build index) and a control set of exercises:1) standing long jump, 2) high pull-ups, 3) push-ups, 4) abdominal and oblique crunches,5) 100 m sprint, 6) single-leg squats (standing right beside the wall bars an athlete sets his hands on the bar at waist height and crouches on one leg). We used mathematical statistics methods to process and analyze obtained experimental data. Significance of differences between intra- and intergroup averages was assessed with Student t-test. Findings: experimental group (EG) showed positive dynamics in morphofunctional parameters and strength capacity. By the end of the research young males from EG showed significant improvement in physical fitness, especially in strength capacity. We also observed essential increase in dynamometric strength parameters of EG students: back muscle strength index improved by 25 %, pectoral girdle muscle strength index - by 18 %, abdominal strength endurance - by 18.9 %, leg strength index - by 17.4 %. Conclusion: revealed dynamics of physical condition and physical fitness of experimental subjects proves that proposed module method applied in EG has positive effect on physical fitness level of senior high school male students. Minor changes in strength capacity of young males from control group are, probably, a result of educational program that does not provides enough for strength capacity development.
