Research on identifying individual variability of prolificacy in Duroc sire boars of the Talent line was conducted in Kamsky Bekon LLC in the Tukaevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The highest prolificacy was observed in TN70 crossbred first-parous sows, covered by boars No. KD1170, DX2704 - 14.33 heads, they were inferior in this indicator to boars No. KD1206 by 1.66 heads, No. DX2702 by 2 heads and No. SX0612 by 2.53 heads, respectively. The sows with the highest prolificacy and mated by the boar № DX2704 had the lowest survival rates before weaning - 12.67 heads, despite the fact that 1 head was removed and 2 heads of piglets were added to the study group. The highest survival rate of piglets was observed in sows mated by the boar № KD1206 - 15.3 heads, which are at the average limits for the birth of live piglets in the study group. Thus, the survival rate of piglets before weaning increases not due to the animals own biological potential without human intervention, but due to external influences. The evaluation of sexual hunting of repair pigs in all the studied groups did not exceed 8 points, so in the future, when selecting repair young, it is necessary to pay more attention to animals with a higher score, which will be accompanied by an increase in the number of fertilized eggs.
