In the article, the authors address the topic of the restorative potential of the spatial environment of everyday life in the perceptions of students. The relevance of the problem of psychological resourcefulness of the spatial environment of everyday life, which is associated with environmental conditions, the ability of a person to navigate to them as a basis for the use of routine self-help techniques, taking into account the restorative potential of the spatial environment, is determined. The results of foreign studies on the problem of restorative potential of the living environment, as well as of domestic authors on the issue of psychological resourcefulness of this environment are presented, in particular such methodological concepts as restorative environment, type of subject-medium interactions, environment as a stress coping resource, etc. are considered which allow to specify the conceptual framework, the possible directions and design of empirical studies in the area of interest. The article presents data from the author's pilot empirical study related to students' perceptions of the restorative potential of different types of living environments, among which home and natural environment have the greatest potential for students.
