An overview of the theoretical foundations and factors influencing employee engagement is presented, including an analysis of domestic and foreign experience. The research part presents the results of a survey of employees of a conditional consulting company, which made it possible to identify the level of engagement and key problem areas: lack of recognition, limited career prospects and an imbalance between work and personal life. Based on the analysis, a set of recommendations for increasing engagement is proposed, including the development of a merit recognition system, the formation of transparent career trajectories, support for work-life balance and personalized HR initiatives. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying the proposed measures in consulting firms to improve work efficiency and staff retention. The involvement of personnel in the activities of modern consulting companies is a strategic task of the company’s management, as it helps to increase labor productivity, increase employee motivation, reduce staff turnover, improve the psychological climate in the team, which will further ensure the sustainable development of the company and competitive advantages in the market.
