Evolutionary biology is an integral part of contemporary science. Vast amounts of data from physical, chemical and biological sciences provide evidence to cosmic and biological evolution. But question arises: can secular understanding of cosmic and biological evolution give sense to its whole history and meaning of human life? Can Christian theology give sense to the entire cosmic history and answer those questions that cannot be resolved within the framework of secular approaches? How successful are attempts to build theology of evolution? This article presents an analysis of the key theological ideas of theistic evolutionism in an attempt to make sense of the evolution of the cosmos and life.
