The integration of modern technologies such as virtual and augmented reality with traditional teaching methods is transforming fine arts education at the primary general education level, offering new ways to increase engagement and develop students’ creativity. However, there is a potential risk that deviations from traditional pedagogical approaches that are effective in developing children’s artistic skills may reduce the quality of learning and contribute to new problems. The aim of the study is to determine the possibility of using virtual and augmented reality in combination with traditional methods of teaching fine arts in primary school. The positive effects and problems of using these technologies are shown. It is concluded that thoughtful integration of technologies can enrich fine arts education.
