The article discusses resources and benefits of the distance learning technologies applied in the educational process. The special attention is paid to the determination of factors (motivational, intensional, procedural, socio-psychological) and organizational educational conditions for formation of students' professional competences in a teachers' training university in the course of computer science teaching.
