The article deals with the use of professionally oriented (linguodidatic) tasks during the continuous assessment for the determination of the level of the linguodidactic competence development of the bachelor of a teacher training program in the course of “Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching” (English language). There is substantiated the reasonability of their usage in the conditions of the system of higher education transferring to the new educational standards that provide with the systemic changes in the pedagogical education in accordance with the society and state requirements, and oriented to the training of a modern competent teacher of foreign languages who is ready to implement efficiently the aims of foreign language teaching.
