The Possibilities of Using Sketchnoting Technology in Teaching Russian to Chinese Students

This article describes the sketchnoting technology, its context, key features, and signifi cant advantages. Practical examples of its use in teaching Russian to Chinese students are provided. The relevance of this technology to the ethnopsychological characteristics and study habits of Chinese students in the modern educational environment is substantiated. It is concluded that the use of sketchnoting, combined with collective discussion of the teacher’s work with students, contributes to increased learning motivation, the development of critical thinking, semantic comprehension skills, and the practical application of knowledge.
