Objectives: The purpose of this study is to improve the immediate and long-term results of surgical treatment of acute pancreatitis by clarifying the criteria for computed tomography of the disease and its related complications. The objectives are to clarify the CT-semiotics of acute pancreatitis and its complications, and the development of prognostic criteria for CT-flow and surgical treatment of acute pancreatitis. Materials and methods: 30 patients with acute pancreatitis. MSCT study was done using Siemens Somatom Sensation 64 slice, slice thickness 5 mm. Results and conclusions: diagnostic efficiency of computed tomography in acute pancreatitis was defined, and association of CT severity index with clinical severity and complications was found. Given the results of the study, using MSCT as a prognostic criterion of severity of acute pancreatitis is proposed.
