Possibilities of the educational environment of the gymnasium in the organization of project activities of younger adolescents

The article presents different approaches to the definition of the concept of "educational environment", identifies the difficulties of introducing project activities into the school educational environment. The author highlights the possibilities of the educational environment of the gymnasium, which contribute to the organization of project activities of younger adolescents: the possibility of learning the technology of project activities within the framework of the course of extracurricular activities, the variability in the choice of forms of organization of training in project activities; integration of efforts of different teachers; the possibility of public presentation of the results of project activities; interaction of younger teenagers with the gymnasium community and social institutions in the implementation of projects; the ability to create integrated, social projects; the possibility of individualization in the organization of project activities.
