In hypoxemic conditions a high degree of NAD(F)N restoration interferes with oxidation any NAD-dependent substrate. Thus, succinate oxidation remains at high level thanks to conservation of flavones larger oxidability in a respiratory chain. Experiment was made on homogenate preparations of rat liver and mitochondrial suspensions and it showed that in the conditions of lowered рО 2 advantage a succinate over NAD-dependent substrates is more expressed, than in the conditions of «normoxia» that gives preconditions for use an exogenous succinate for correction a hypoxia and a metabolic acidosis.
