Opportunities to improve energy efficiency of the northern regions’ economy

The article examines strategic issues of energy efficiency in the country’s economy. It pays special attention to the factor analysis of the Arctic regions, characteristic of high energy capacity of gross regional product. One of the strategic issues is legal regulation, including in the framework of the RF energy strategy. The work studies the economic mechanism of energy efficiency in the corporate and regional sectors.
