The potential of a system-structural approach in the context of studying psychological problems of stabilization of relations in juvenile teams

Introduction. One of the most effective methodological approaches focused on studies of stabilizing relationships in juvenile groups is the system-structural approach. The aim of the research is to substantiate the potential of the methodology of the system-structural approach used for examination of peculiarities in development of juvenile groups and establishing psychological and pedagogical resource of the educational institution that provides stabilization of interpersonal relations between the subjects of interaction in groups of middle age juveniles. Materials, Results and Discussion. Contradictions were revealed between the need to stabilize interpersonal relations in children's groups of middle adolescence and the insufficient use of the possibilities of the methodology of the system-structural approach for studying this problem. The following concepts are clarified: «system-structural approach» applied to researches in the field of developmental and pedagogical psychology; «psychological and pedagogical resource of an educational organization»; «juvenile learning group»; «stabilization of relations between juveniles in the educational collective». The authors give their own interpretation of the concepts of «psychological assistance», «psychological maintenance», «psychological support», «psychological counseling», i. e. important components of an integral system representing psychological and pedagogical resource of an educational institution, which ensures stabilization of positive relations in educational juvenile groups.
