Preservation of Kazakh culture and language in rural districts of the Omsk near-Irtysh region (on the example of southern districts)

International Kazakh archeological-ethnographic expedition explored the possibilities of the ethnic culture and native language preservation of Kazakhs of the Southern districts of Omsk Near-Irtysh region. We present here the results of the analysis. There are two opportunities for ethnic culture and native language preservation in rural districts of Omsk Near-Irtysh region. Thefirst one is the centers of Kazakh culture and language in public cultural institutions, another one is are the centers of Kazakh language and culture in secondary schools. The author writes about the Center of Kazakh culture “Dostyk ” of Tavrichesky district, the Studio of Kazakh national creativity “Zamandastar ” of Odessky district and the center of Kazakh language and culture “Baiterek ” of Novovarshavsky district. The problem of personnel and the absence of modern methodical literature prevents successful study and preservation of the Kazakh language. Nevertheless, the preservation of Kazakh culture and language in rural areas is more productive, than in Omsk-city and other cities because the Kazakhs compactly live here.
