The possibilities of improving of sunflower lines by means of biotypes selection with high extent of quantitative traits in inbreeding

The article presents the results of experimental data on the possible improvements of self-pollinated sunflower line on separate quantitative traits. By means of purposeful selection of biotypes with maximum manifestation of number and set of seeds in the head of self-pollinated sunflower line, it became possible to improve form of lines BK 678 by means of two selection cycles against an inbreeding A and B.
