The emergence and development of the verse novel in Kyrgyz literature

The article examines the emergence and development of the genre of the verse novel in world and national literature with an emphasis on Kyrgyz literary traditions. Attention is paid to the process of transition from oral epic to written narrative poetry, the main works and authors who contributed to the development of the genre are considered. The importance of the verse novel as a form of artistic reflection of social and literary processes is emphasized.
