Age characteristics of outqpatient pneumonia course in children during influenza А/H1N1/09 pandemic

Pneumonia is the most common and serious lung pathology in children. During flu epidemic incidence of pneumonia is very high. Clinical course of pneumonia during influenza А/H1N1/09 pandemic was analysed in 281 children aged from 1 up to 16. The patients were divided into age groups. Some clinical features were determined in younger children. Symptoms of intoxication and fever were noted, with fever being rather high. The patients were shown to develop focus pneumonia more frequently, with two lateral pneumonia occurring more often. Severe pneumonias were mainly observed in children aged 1-3.
