The revival of industrial tourism: from the Soviet experience to modern practices in Russian regions

The article analyzes the social practices of industrial tourism in Russian regions. Based on the results of theoretical and empirical research, the authors come to the conclusion about the revival of industrial tourism in Russian regions, whose social practices are based on the rich Soviet experience. The resource potential of industrial tourism in the Saratov region is estimated as high. The regional ecosystem of industrial tourism is at the initial stage, which is characterized by a harmonious synthesis of methodology and empirical experience, human capital and socio-economic infrastructure.
