The relevance of the topic of the article is due to several factors: both countries have rich cultural traditions in choreography, which have a significant impact on the world art of dance; approaches to teaching and developing choreographic skills in these countries differ; modern globalization and cultural integration require an understanding of educational systems for effective international cooperation and professional growth; The analysis of such systems can help to improve educational programs and teaching methods, thereby improving the quality of training of future specialists in the field of choreography. The essence of the research is to conduct a comparative analysis of choreographic education systems in Russia and China. As a result of the study, it was found that the dance culture of China has ancient traditions, developing over five thousand years, but the formation of the choreographic education system in China began only after the formation of the People's Republic of China in 1949. Government support played a key role in this process, as it contributed to the formation of a professional choreographic education system. In 1954, the Beijing Dance School was opened, where Chinese dancer Dai Ailan and Soviet choreographers began training. The legacy of Russian specialists played a key role in the formation of the Chinese ballet school. They contributed to the unification of European classical dance with Chinese folk and to the creation of a ballet with a national theme. This division of dances into "classical" and "folk" had a lasting impact on Chinese ballet. It is concluded that at the current stage of the development of choreographic education in Russia, there are problems associated with insufficient study of the visual component of ballet and a lack of personality-oriented learning, which requires the introduction of innovative measures: the creation of educational modules, a dance art center and the improvement of pedagogical training in universities.
