Acts 1:7 has been chosen as the starting point for this article. For its correct interpretation, the concepts of lasting time (χρόνος) and decisive moment (καιρός), as well as analogues of the last time set by God (ὥρα) and day (ἡμέρα) are analyzed. The concept of delegated power (ἐξουσία) is considered and Acts 1:7 is interpreted as the creative power of God over time, providing the ability to freely act for individuals and human communities. The New Testament concept of the end times (ἔσχατον) and the Lord Jesus Christ as the goal and completion (τέλος) of human history is described. The doctrine of the ontologically eternal God (ὁ αἰώνιος θεός), who bestows the fullness of eternal life (ζωὴ αἰώνιος) to those who believe in Him, is presented.
