The universal principle of contradiction as a fundamental resource for the formation of thinking in the educational process

The problem of transforming the consciousness of subjects of the educational process by means of dialectics is considered. The idea is substantiated that the mastery of dialectical thinking is possible only on the basis of a conscious comprehension of the universal principle of contradiction. The author focuses on the unity of the laws of the real world and the laws of thinking. A comparison of dialectical and positivist approaches to the educational process is presented.
