Choice of approaches to preventing negative consequences of risk factors by an entrepreneurship entity

The article highlights the relevance of continuing scientific research on the development of scientific and methodological tools for activating management activities to prevent negative consequences of risk factors by an entrepreneurship entity. It summarizes practical experience on the use of tools for reducing or eliminating risks, developed by analysts of the consulting company McKinsey. This toolkit is built upon a scenario-based management approach that helps to bring the sensitivity threshold to the maximum value when threatening impacts on a business entity occur. Noninclusion of the process of resource allocation for the creation of new skills and abilities is a disadvantage of the scenario-based management approach, while the process of resource management itself is simplified. It has been concluded that the results of the study should be taken into account to strengthen the economic security of business entities.
