The article is devoted to the determination of the content of curriculum "Professionally-applied physical training" (PFP) through the analysis and definition of professionally important psychophysical qualities necessary for the graduates of engineering of the agrarian University, the selection of the most important from the point of view of suitability, choice of means of development of professionally important psychophysical qualities of students - future engineers. The proposed sequence of solving this problem allows us to apply the proposed methodology to students of higher education institutions in other areas of training.
