The article analyzes a new legislative mechanism for identifying copyright holders of previously registered real estate objects in respect of which there are no registered rights in the Unified State Register of Real Estate. The author focuses on the mandatory activities required to establish the owner of the object. Provides practical recommendations to local governments and property owners.
