Identification of socio-psychological characteristics of high school students - active users of social networks

The relevance of the study of socio-psychological characteristics of high school students - active users of social networks is substantiated. Age characteristics of students in grades 10-11 are identified, groups are identified by the methods and time of using social networks. The results of a comparative analysis of the studied groups are presented. Statistically significant differences between high school students in the indicators of “self-esteem”, “self-motivation”, “self-acceptance”, “level of reflected self-attitude”, “level of trust”, “empathy”, etc. are described. A conclusion is made to confirm the hypothesis of the study, postulating that depending on the amount of time spent on social networks, the ways of using them, as well as the presence of blogger status, the socio-psychological characteristics of high school students develop differently.
