The rectifying of current induced by the mutual influence of two electromagnetic waves

The mutual rectifying of two electromagnetic waves, one of which represents a weak sinusoidal wave and another is cnoidal wave, has been considered. There have been derived the general relation for the constant term of current density to arise in superlattice (SL) under the presence of these waves. The dependence of the constant term of current on the amplitude of cnoidal wave has been analyzed. There have been examined the case when the frequency of linear wave is two times as more then the frequency of cnoidal wave. In this case, the relation between current density and amplitude of the nonlinear wave has been derived. It ought to distinct two cases allowing for magnitude of nonlinear parameter. In the context 0 к≤ 1, the relation between constant term of current density and nonlinear parameter has the view of alternate peaks. Permanent term of current density appears at the magnitudes of parameter к when frequency of sinusoidal wave is in even number more then that of cnoidal wave. In the context к> 1, the relation between constant term of current and parameter k has two terms. One of these terms doesn't depend on the parameters of sinusoidal wave. It is equal to the current density appearing on account of the presence of the constant term of cnoidal wave's field. This current doesn't relate to the effect of mutual rectifying and arouses under the presence of cnoidal wave solely. The relation between constant term of current density and nonlinear parameter without this term above represents the plenty of peaks similarly to that of case 0 к ≤ 1. Constant term appears when the frequency of sinusoidal wave is in even number more then that of cnoidal wave.
