Expression of the concept "thought" in lexicography and semantic fields

The lexical (dictionary) representation of the concept «Thought» made it possible to identify semantic microfields consisting of thematically generalized layers in the core of the concept. As a result, 19 microfields were identified. Definitions of the word thought are not found in all dictionaries. In several lexicographical works, the definitions of the named lexeme are the same, the number of meanings are equal. There are only two relative definitions in the dictionary of the Kyrgyz language: 1) The process of thinking; the intention conceived with the help of the mind. 2) The product of thinking, opinion. This is probably due to the limited lexicographic experience of the compilers or the fact that the concept is poorly represented by the processality and substance dominates. Due to the limited number of explanatory dictionaries in the Kyrgyz language, we turned to the definitions demonstrated in authoritative explanatory dictionaries of the Russian language.
