Higher education as a factor of national security

The article examines education and higher education, in particular, as the main stabilizing or anticrisis factor in the national security of the modern Russian state. Various scientific approaches to understanding the significance of higher education as a factor of national security are presented. The study draws attention to the need to analyze the state and predict potential models of the formation and development of the higher education system using the institutional approach, in the context of ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation.
