The article explores the current trends, development and prospects of higher education in Kyrgyzstan, based on the opinion of students. In the context of a rapidly changing educational environment, the views and preferences of students are of great importance in understanding the evolution and prospects for the development of higher education. The article is based on a study conducted between 2021 and 2023 among students of various higher educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan. Using survey methods, focus groups and interviews, data were collected on students' opinions about the current state of higher education, its trends and development. The article discusses various aspects of higher education, such as the quality of education, accessibility, the use of modern technologies and methods, international relations, adaptability to the needs of the labor market and prospects for further development. The analysis of students' opinions and feedback helps to identify current challenges and problems in higher education, as well as to identify potential areas for development and improvement. The article offers recommendations and solutions for educational institutions and government bodies aimed at improving the quality of education, developing innovative approaches and adapting to modern requirements. The analytical overview presented in the article serves as a valuable source of information for decision-making in the field of higher education in Kyrgyzstan and can be used by stakeholders to understand and take into account the views of students when planning future development strategies.
