The paper deals with the exhibition activities abroad. It is noted that the exhibition activity in the modern world is one of the drivers of the global economy. The authors explore the exhibition activity in the leading countries, which are the USA, Germany and China. The key role of the state support in the success of exhibitions is emphasized. The authors review in more detail the exhibition activity in Germany.
