Early Confucianism occurs during one of the most outstanding and eclectic periods of ancient Chinese philosophies, marked with, on the one hand, their self-determination against the background of classical Confucian ideas, and, on the other hand, mutual formation and enhancement of various thoughts. Thus, later classical Confucian pedagogical knowledge was strongly underpinned with Taoist, Moist and Legist ideas, which consequently formed a deep, multilayered philosophical-pedagogical and institutional basic for Chinese civilization for ages.
